We are currently seeking an SAP Deliver (SD) Systems Analyst to join our technology team in our Operating and Enabling Value Chains & Platforms. This position can sit at any US Eaton facility. The SAP Deliver Systems Analyst’s primary responsibility is to design, model, configure, and implement SAP deliver (SD) and related process solutions to meet desired order to remittance business requirements. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes and systems processes in order to recommend improvements using use Eaton standard SAP deployment model and processes. The candidate will participate in SAP implementations, enhancement project, provide third level support as required, and deploy enhancement projects within the SAP landscape. Candidate must understand and drive regional solutions and implement controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and control standards. The SD Analyst will cover various deliver processes including end-to-end sales & distribution processes (SD & LE), Global Trade Services (GTS), SAP eDocument Framework, Customer Services (CS) and all related master data. In this function you will: Be responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of SAP Deliver (SD). Work in partnership with divisional and regional financial leadership and business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems. Manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing & user acceptance methodology. Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes. Help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes for SAP Deliver (SD). Demonstrate analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements. Deliver functional specifications & configuration in line with the agreed and approved design. Develop and implement organizational change management plans related to one's projects. Learn to apply Eaton's project methodology and governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and regression testing. Work with the SAP deliver global governance team to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions. Participate in business process improvement committees as needed. Interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language). Cultivate a culture of innovation. Support end-to-end processes based on intermediate level understanding of system touch points. Responsible for learning touchpoints in order to integrate Eaton's other key platforms into the SAP landscape including, but not limited to platforms such eCommerce, CTO/ETO applications, CPQ, Vertex, logistics solutions and analytics tools Supports business processes and solutions in the areas of SD/MM, pricing, ATP, CS, logistics, integration experience, basic EDI knowledge.
