SAP Security Administrator

 

Location: We will consider hybrid work for those local to Exton, PA

 

Position Summary:

Bentley Systems, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced SAP security administrator to manage and maintain all security related aspects of the SAP environment along with all connected components.  These globally deployed applications include SAP BW, CRM, ECC, BPC, EP, Solution Manager, SAP OSS, C4C (Cloud for Sales), SuccessFactors, HCP/HCI along with 3rd party connected systems including Paymetric, Vertex, and others.  Security administration may extend to additional applications used within the SAP environment.  This candidate will report to the SAP Basis Manager within IT Operations and will be responsible for providing guidance on design, architecture, maintenance, and enhancement of new and existing security topics and initiatives.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • In-depth working knowledge of SAP security best practices.
    Proficient with role and profile creation including the ability to troubleshoot access issues.
  • GRC administration and configuration including risk and usage analysis along with emergency access management.
  • Additional GRC administration to include access reviews, user and role management, audit automation, and role and risk analyzer.
  • Responsible for making recommendations on how to optimize security roles and avoid SOD violations.
  • Perform daily security investigations to determine core issues, provide corrective action, and implement preventive controls to avoid similar issues going forward.
  • Required to conform to ITGC audit requirements including the composing of policy documentation and recording of acknowledgement and compliance.
  • Enforcement of security policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
  • Responsible for defining the security model for various existing and planned SAP application implementations.
  • Research and evaluate security management software and make recommendations on how to improve and optimize existing security procedures.
  • Work closely with internal teams to help streamline all security related changes.
  • Responsible for translation of functional requirements into technical designs for security roles.
  • Strong team skills along with excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the requirement to document and maintain all security related procedures and process documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision while delivering project requirements on time and as desired.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 5+ years of experience in security design, blueprint, development, and implementation.
  • SAP Basis administration experience a strong plus as this position may include additional basis tasks.
  • Experienced with SAP system audits and the ability to provide all audit required documentation including change logs and procedures adhering to audit requirements.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role does not require travel.
