Position Overview Join our team now at Siemens Corporation as an IT Solution Architect – SAP Finance & Controlling This position will act as SAP FI/CO module Solution Architect. The Solution Architect provides business and procedural system knowledge as well as application expertise while providing oversight/approval of changes made in the FI/CO domain. This individual should be driven to provide innovative solutions not limited to SAP technology/applications. will support our local and global financial communities in addition to the business units, developing functional and technical designs, making configuration changes and testing SAP application developments. You will be expected to learn the designed solution and contribute to the continued evolution of our environment and processes as our business requirements change. The Solution Architect provides software and application solution expertise according to resp. modules / products and legacy systems. The Solution Architect is responsible for his/her consulting delivery, quality and provides governance to system audits. Responsibilities You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the Finance and Controlling processes in SAP and other tools. Configuration of SAP FI CO modules including documentation, business and technical impact analysis, provide consulting on project/program opportunities, and consult on the development of solution / approach on the most complex projects and complex change requests. Demonstrate extensive knowledge in SAP Finance & Controlling Modules and multiple SAP disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments. In depth knowledge of COPA, profit center accounting, asset accounting, customer/vendor/GL master data maintenance, profit center maintenance, cost center maintenance, cost element and internal order maintenance to resolve customer problems or issues. In depth knowledge of interfacing systems related to FI and CO. Provides support and training to all levels of business partners and internal IT peers and management. Responsible for end-to-end FI CO solutions including utilizing reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI or others as needed. Responsible for working with ABAP development team developing reports, user exits and debugging. Responsible for documenting; functional specification, technical specifications, BPPs, test scripts, impact analysis, and training documents. Follow the Siemens standard methodologies and processes. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/financial concepts and functional knowledge for area of expertise. Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, preferred bachelor’s degree in Finance. 10+ years of successful experience as functional SAP FICO consultant. In depth understanding of the SAP system; functionality, configuration, and integration points of all modules in their business area (FI, CO) and related business processes. Experience with all FI and CO submodules including COPA, Product Costing, Material Ledger, FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-AA, Treasury, Banking, Credit management, Lockbox processing, dunning and worklists, Tax, PCA, CCA and Internal Orders. SAP HANA DB including working with HANAviews. Reporting tools such as SAC and/or Tableau. Global rollouts and global SAP template deployments. Experience with multi time zone, multi-language, multi-cultural and multi-currency environments. Knowledge of key integration points with FI/CO modules including the other SAP modules APO, SD, PS, CS, MM and HR. Experience with M&A (carve in / carve outs). Experience with interfaces including but not limited to EDI processing, Biztalk, PI, etc. Well-developed communications skills; able to clearly and concisely express technical information (or data) to non-technical associates, business partners, peers, and management. Willing to travel when necessary up to 10%.
