Position Summary:

The SAP Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing, estimating, supporting and managing the effective and efficient delivery of the functional aspects of SAP projects, enhancements and service delivery (break/fix) across all PSG ETO supported instances.

The SAP Systems Analyst will be accountable for ERP project and enhancement assessment and execution matters including service delivery (break/fix). As such, the Systems Analyst will be the key contact for PSG businesses where ETO supports PSG SAP environments. This will include day to day remote working with SAP users & business partners in the sites within scope of the role.

The SAP Systems Analyst will collaborate with other team members, offshore/onshore to ensure that enhancements are delivered, leveraging the global resource pool, in a cost-effective manner without negatively impacting quality, as well as providing support in resolving service delivery matters and ensuring SLA’s for service are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical

  • SAP Systems Analyst should have strong SAP FICO module(s) knowledge.
    • Able to articulate solution options and using ERP configuration creatively versus developing enhancements.
    • Should have knowledge on interfaces, iDocs, workflows.
    • Ability to problem solve and route cause a problem in your functional area.
    • Understand how your functional area impacts or is impacted by actions in downstream or upstream modules.
    • Ability to route cause abap is important in this role as well as basic development and transportation processes.
  • Prepare functional specifications for conversions and enhancements
  • Coordinate with development team and monitor the progress of developing activities and updating the status with respective teams
  • Coordinate with Super Users in resolving issues that arises during user training
  • Knowledge on Month-end & Year end activities
  • Knowledge of Service Now (Service Requests, Incident & Change Management Process)

Business Skills

  • Management and accountability for the achievement of all Metrics (SLAs);
  • On time delivery of functional aspects of Enhancement and Project assessment requests and blueprinting
  • Quality of delivery of all functional aspects of Enhancements and Projects
  • Delivery and support of incident/break/fix and production support
  • Effectively manage the relationship with internal business partners
  • Should possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to understand the business need/requests and recommend a suitable role when multiple options exist. Problem Solving and listening skills are important.
  • Ability to work remotely with business partners. This is a key skill to ensure a clear and collaborative relationship to support enhancements and break fix resolution.
  • Open to seek advice with fellow (onshore/Offshore) team colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize the work & complete the activities assigned.
  • GxP Experience in the Pharma Industry would be beneficial.
  • Ability to follow a highly regulated process as laid out by SOPs.
  • Mentor other Business Analysts within the regions

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of ERP Project Execution/ management experience
  • Ability to set expectations, explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management and business partners
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical staff and management
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues on a remote basis
  • Must have the ability to question the status quo
