As a SC&M Project Engineer, you will be responsible for: You will drive the implementation of sensors and reagents consumable products with focus on biochemical assay manufacturing process development and qualification into both internal and external manufacturing operations Analyze and troubleshoot fluidics and mechanical systems for use in mass production manufacturing environments Develop test plans and drive implementation of manufacturing qualification systems Complete design and process failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) Support planning and execution of verification and validation activities Manage scope and magnitude of project assignments from a single component to new product introduction Assist with formalizing and releasing documentation such as mechanical drawings, bill of Materials (BOM), and assembly instructions; Review engineering documents and provide detailed feedback concerning manufacturability Develop lean manufacturing processes Required skills to have for the success of this role: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering required Master’s Degree preferred; MBA or technical degree Experience (5-10 years) working in a regulated (ISO, FDA) manufacturing environment with a preference for new product introduction Subject matter expert on design transfer activity from R&D to manufacturing. Deliver complete product design solution/manufacturing processes as part of the phase-gate process; create / provide standardized delivery packages to manufacturing. Strong process and manufacturing engineering skills Agile experience a plus Problem solving skills and the ability to take a logical approach to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently Ability to interface with engineering team and other professionals in a cross-functional organization Strong self-management, prioritizing and multi-tasking skills to work within tight deadlines Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
