Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Support Supply Chain innovations aligned with GC Strategic Direction.
Fully understand current processes and procedures. Understand SCM trends & directions, Tools and capabilities and transform them into SCM opportunities.
Constantly challenge the status quo and develop new capabilities, processes & tools.
Help SC team to further improve the performance including improving material pull and replenishment scheduling processes, inventory management, stock availability, on-time delivery and other supply chain performance metrics.
Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement – Increase the velocity of the material flow in the supply chain. Implement continuous improvement methodology (Practical Process Improvement) and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Support system improvement and digitization, Ensure that optimal service standards are met;
ERP/MRP – work cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and finance to improve planning systems. Understand customer demands and define required capacities to satisfy demand (warehouse and site capacity requirements).
Initiate and develop systems/tools to meet the business need
Good understanding of manufacturing processes – Value stream map the material flows and optimize total processes; manage the coordinated acquisition of material, receipt and storage of materials and movement of materials through plant; coordinate necessary work times and build schedules to optimize the operational processes including MFG, QA, SC and NPD.
Working with Products management team to review product portfolio and conduct optimization activities
Working with commercial team to optimize service portfolio as well as revant process improvement
Qualifications
University educated with degree in Business/Logistics/Manufacturing/Engineering/Statistics discipline
12+ years working experience , 8+ years direct relevant experience in Supply Chain functions of a major consumer-driven multi-national company (FMCG, Retail, Consumer durables, Electronics etc.)
Supply chain optimization expertise and project management experience required.
ERP system reengineering experience required.
Collaboration skills – Able to effectively collaborate with peers in other functions and with colleagues in other businesses or divisions.
Very good communication skills and the ability to work across multiple functions and cross cultural, drive action via the consensus with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and experience managing metrics.
Knowledge of process improvement (PPI or Six Sigma) and lean tools.
Excellent in excel, Micro development
Proficient in English both Oral and written.
