Develops, promotes, and implements Sustainability in the Supply Chain strategy and respective methodologies and monitor their effectiveness Advise management on sustainability aspects with respect to relevant ratings, data capturing, measures, programs, etc. Research, analyze and evaluate sustainability related data and summarize findings for all concerned stakeholders to draw management attention for decision making Derives target-orientated measures and work with business to reduce carbon footprint Complete ownership and responsibility for SCM Business Responsibility Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) Define and establish sustainable processes wherever applicable to meet regulatory mandate Summarize and monitor progress on SCM Sustainability measures/target for Management Deepening relationships with our supply chain partners/business and working together to implement Third Party Sustainability Strategies Conduct Sustainability trainings, workshops, roadshows, etc. internally for SCM colleagues as well for external suppliers where applicable Represent Siemens at SCM Sustainability Industry conferences Act as one point of contact and expert for all SCM Sustainability related topics What you need to make real what matters! Master’s Degree in a business, supply chain, sustainability, engineering or related field 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics 3+ years of experience leading a high-performing Supply Chain team Experience of successfully leading change across a matrix, managing and successfully influencing complex stakeholder relationships including global stakeholders Understanding of Sustainability Development Goals, Cradle to Gate, Environmental regulations, etc. Proven capabilities in not only operating a supply chain, but strategically redesigning and implementing sustainability to support sustainable growth using internal & external suppliers Results driven, self motivated and fearless of challenges Great communicator. Able to engage internal and external stakeholders Good analytical skills to handle and analyze big data and draw sound conclusions This role, includes :- Internal / External Contacts: · Category Managers; Commodity Management, Commodity Engineering Heads · SCM Teams/Department Heads, Business Procurement Heads · Cross-functional partners (e.g. Finance, Quality etc.); FSS; Internal/External Consultants; Suppliers; Associations; Universities · Other external: tbd Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.
