Eaton at Haina, Dominican Republic is currently seeking for a Project Lead - SCM to join our team. This role will be supporting PCD Division. See below responsibilties: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead project activities for Power Components Division Sites on Supply Chain Management Initiatives. Assure activities are completed based on timeline, managing CAPEX, cost out and goals. Works with other department process owners to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve productivity, cost, quality, and service ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead PCD Division project initiatives within the SCM, driving results measured by lower material costs, responsive supplier performance, process, and service improvements, and resultant productivity. Evaluates resiliency projects utilizing SCM Strategy for PCD Division, identifying opportunities for improvement. Lead, facilitate or execute cost reduction projects for PCD Division Sites. Follow up on other department process owners (Engineering, Production, Operations, and Finance) in identifying and prioritizing project activities based on the deliverables. Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies Lead supplier management risk actions to improve and develop actions plans. Key Performance metrics include but not limited to: Achieve Sourcing Savings and cost competitiveness goals Minimizing Material Inflation Impact Report Project milestones, CAPEX Utilization, risks and savings associated. Payment terms and other responsiveness measures as appropriate. Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS) Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator. Assist to all EHS training assigned. #LI-MM3 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Professional degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions English Level: full bilingual Advanced computer skills: MS Office, MS Project. Prefer Oracle, Vista, Mapics Preferred: Experience in controlling costs, materials warehouse, APICS, Eaton quality Systems (EQS), Enovia document control system and / or Manufacturing area. Project Management knowledge expertise and negotiation skills.
