Job Description

Eaton’s Corporation is currently seeking a SCM Project Lead to join our team. This position can be based at any Eaton US facility or approved US based remote/home office.

Position Overview:

The Project Lead will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and advancement of the GPS Power App and Power Automation which is currently serving 2000 users per month with aspirations to grow to 4000 users per month. The GPS currently supports 30+ process modules and 30+ automated workflows and serves as the integrated operating platform for connecting business and corporate supply chain teams with global supply chain center of excellence teams. The Project Lead will also be responsible for developing onboarding and general training materials for GPS modules.

In this function you will:

  • Support Supply Chain team with a keen focus on operational excellence, managing data acquisition and data cleansing routines, data analytics expertise, processes skills, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements & tools to analyze business issues and drive solutions for the business units and supporting functions.
  • Maintain and enhances existing GPS Power App. Coordinate internally & externally to define, document, and execute the setup, quality, cadence, and method of delivery of data files into GPS and establishes and enforces organizational processes and standards within the GPS. Conduct GPS data architecture analysis and continuously improves data flows and governance aligned to central guidelines.
  • Build new application integrations and automation using GPS Power App, Microsoft Azure, Cloudera and ETL Technologies. Responsible for the functional and technical requirements from the customers, as well as the analysis and definition of the different sources of information and the reports layout.
  • Assist with knowledge management and tracking of various industry information including monthly industry trends, aggregating vendor and other proprietary information reviewing / confirming supplier data, checking data for accuracy, data manipulation/categorization, and high- level analysis.
  • Provide project management and support to identify, prioritize and drive data analytics projects that are most impactful in procurement decision-making, performance management, and end-to-end continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of business intelligence, business analytics, either internally or at a large external consulting firm.
  • No relocation is offered for this position.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, MIS, Computer Science, or in a related technical field (e.g., engineering, science, math, statistics) from an accredited college
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a project manager
  • 2-3 years’ experience in SQL

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $84,720 - $116,490.
