Be responsible for SCM project launching activities for China Robot production.

Your responsibilities

  • Planning and coordinating SCM activities in project execution from concept design to market release, enabling the implementation of right quality, cost and performance from Suppliers in new product.
  • Representing SCM in the Project team meetings, contributing to decision making, executing the gate model process.
  • Monitoring drawing & BOM releasing from R&D to ensuring timely transition and planning, issuing regular updates on project status to SCM team.
  • Ensuring DM cost and investment budget is achieving Project target, tracking changes in BOM & record, addressing deviations.
  • Involving in component selection/control like guiding and influencing R&D component design to satisfy the SCM strategy.
  • Driving early supplier involvement and making or buy, enabling strategic Suppliers introduction.
  • Regularly reviewing R&D design phases & component change requirements and tracking the prototype & sample PO to ensure catch up the project schedule.
  • Submitting and presenting reports on related project status – Weekly/Monthly, regular DM cost and investment tracking report.

Your background

  • Must have B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant engineering or business discipline.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Project Management in industrial environment of products with high technology content.
  • Must be fluent in Chinese and English language (both written and spoken).
  • Team Leadership and Stakeholders management skills required.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to express a subject clearly and understandable and to persuade others.
  • Should possess good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, ability to adapt to changed situations, problems and tasks quickly.
  • Should have experience in Product Development, Sourcing, Supplier relationship management, Supplier Quality, APQP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP required.
