We have recently secured a number of projects in Hong Kong, Singapore & China and are now seeking to grow our presence in the Asia Pacific region. We are seeking to recruit Senior Electrical Engineers with the following skills:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree level education in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in consultancy, contracting or from an industry related supplier
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional registration (preferable but not essential)
• Relevant experience with mission critical facilities such as data centres and banking sector would be a distinct advantage
• Design / Testing and Commissioning skills is essential
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese (preferable but not essential)
• Good people and project management skills with experience in a Client-facing role
• Computer literate and have experience of using industry relevant design software such as CAD, BIM, AMTECH, DIALux etc. 
• Some experience of mechanical, and other building services systems would be an advantage

 
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• The engineer would have a high degree of autonomy and would therefore need to be highly motivated to achieve the level of quality and work expected of him/her.
• Maintain ownership of key projects from inception to completion
• Maintain Client relationships and develop new leads
• Maintain good technical knowledge of the industry and relevant M&E design and industry standards
• Maintain clear communication with other IDA offices for reporting and sharing of knowledge and experience
• Travel outside of Hong Kong for project work, meetings and internal reporting and training
• Manage project resources (i.e. junior CAD, electrical, mechanical engineers) on projects successfully
