ABOUT THE ROLE
- Liaise with L&D stakeholders, SET points of contacts, and IT leads to deliver GLS services supporting their business and learning needs
- Monitor and assign incoming Service Now requests in the learning workflow queue
- Collect and analyze operational GLS data for SLA measurement and continuous improvement
- Ensure function level SLAs are being met, and track escalations as needed
- Cascade high priority / high impact issues or requests
- Review internal process controls and identify potential process improvement opportunities
- Manage planned and ad-hoc GLS projects (e.g., GLS operational improvement project)
- Lead service delivery of GLS services for high profile training programmes (e.g., global code of conduct)
- Report up to the GLS Head and/or GLS Director
- Manage GLS Team Leaders
- Provide coaching and performance development for GLS Team Leaders
- Endorse training and development opportunities for GLS staff
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Leadership: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others
- Global Mindset: Experience managing global processes and interacting across multinational / global organisations
- Operations Management and Process Improvement: Knowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches
- L&D Policies, Standards, and Procedures: Knowledge of and ability to use L&D industry and organisation standards, policies, procedures, and job aides
- Technology Management: Experience with learning management systems, learning experience platforms, learning content authoring tools, learning analytics platforms, and other learning technologies
- Knowledge Management: Knowledge of the process and tools for capturing, organizing, and using individual and organisational intellectual assets
- Oral and Written Communications: Ability to express oneself to provide information to others effectively and in a succinct manner
- Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Teaming and Relationship Building: Ability to build and manage relationships in a cross-functional environment
