Responsible for developing and facilitating relevant processes to ensure timely, accurate and efficient processing of transactionsInvolve in trade processing, fund clearance and settlements and other related operations such as updating databases and maintaining records
Provide efficient and effective client reporting services
Prepare reports about the composition fund performance
Ensure back office operations are in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Good understanding and experience in Fund accounting, Net asset value (NAV) calculation, Pricing of equities, bonds, and derivative instruments.
Derivatives (FX Swap, IR Swap, IRS, Bond futures and options) - Trade booking, settlement, Master creation, closeout of trades, and pricing.
Understanding and knowledge of Booking of Cash transactions and Trades, reconciliation of cash & Positions, Corporate action booking and reconciliations for timely break resolution.
Portfolio price variance Check daily for all the Investment Portfolios and Composites.
Perform daily and monthly valuation of FX & Derivatives (Interest Swaps, Currency Swaps & Options) in line with regulatory guidelines.
Ensure PL entries are computed accurately for the accounting of FX, FCY Derivatives in line with regulations.
Reconcile daily monthly and quarterly DTR PL circulated to the front office with financials and also validate Treasury GL figures.
Daily communication and oversight IBOR application tasks and data Track all internal and external limits and escalate breaches to management.
Investigating trade break queries raised by Back office, analyzing trade booking/recaps, amending trades in risk management & working with Front Office to assess PNL impact
Performing various control functions to ensure trade values in risk management are in sync with Risk, PNL & downstream applications
Ensuring timely and accurate issuance of confirmation documents to the clients
Regulatory reporting, Margin processing
Issue management and resolution
Management information production for senior management
CCP, Audit and Business liaison and support
Good Knowledge of IBOR derivatives.
Job Requirements :
Education
Graduation in Accounting and Investment field. ACCA, CA or CPA, CFA is preferred.
Experience
8-15 years of working experience in Investment Operations and Middle office.
A thorough understanding of fund accounting and the derivation of deal settlement, Corporate actions, cash and position reconciliation, valuation and Net asset value calculations.
Prior experience working with insurance company and Mutual fund is preferred
Other skills
Advanced Excel knowledge.
Strong team player and has the capacity to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams
He should have the ability to work independently and to proactively seek guidance from others as needed
Strong communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
Creative and open to new ideas
Knowledge of Investment products.
Good numerical and statistical skills
