THE COMPANY :
- HK listed company
- EMS : electronic manufacturing service
- Factory : 1 x Dongguan Changping 8000 workers ; 1 x new factory in Mexico
- We offer electronics manufacturing services to customers in the United States, Europe, Japan and Asia Pacific.
- We provide lifecycle manufacturing services to support the manufacturing of electronics, including to OEMs, ODMs, printed circuit board assemblers, and systems assemblers.
- That will be including but not limited to : PCB assembly equipment, PCB manufacturing equipment, semiconductor & touch panel solutions as well as medical equipment & consumables
- We also manufactures end products that include Bluetooth transmitters/receivers, electronic games, communications base stations, automotive electronics, and consumer products.
- We are looking for SENIOR PURCHASING MANAGER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to Purchasing Director
- Lead both HK Purchasing Team (10 members) + China Purchasing Team
- Negotiate and communicate with strategic partners for contract negotiation
- Manage team members to make sure efficiency of purchase process, source better suppliers for current projects in order to achieve continuously cost reduction & provide competitive offer on our suggested alternatives
- Work closely and monitor routine operations and system enhancement
- Responsible for supplier rating , supplier chain flow, market research and value engineering
- Analyze information to assess root cause of sourcing and improvement opportunities
- Manage and lead a team of purchasing staff in HK and PRC
- Assist the Purchasing Director on purchasing process , policy formulation and ad hoc assignments
- Bachelor degree in Purchasing , Procurement or relevant disciplines
- Min 8 yrs solid experience in procurement / purchasing & with exp. in managerial level at electronics industry
- Proficient in English , Cantonese and Putonghua
- Work based in Hong Kong
- Trips to Dongguan factory (shuttle bus transportation provided) and Mexico factory is required
- 5 days work
