Job Description
Responsibilities
As our SEO Specialist you will audit, analyze, and execute SEO initiatives for all of Phemex’s web properties. Reporting to the SEO Manager, you will be integral to Phemex’s product marketing efforts and responsible for delivering work that will help you grow as a search marketer.
Perform ongoing SERP analyses and optimize on-page elements and site architecture for critical search terms in multiple languages/countries, include but not limited to English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Japanese
Identify, monitor and analyze Phemex’s backlink types and sources; track and compare competitors’ link building progress to discover opportunities for external site links.
Partner with Communications Teams and Product Teams to develop informational content strategies.
Collaborate with the Localization Team on global SEO Strategy
Requirement:
A passion for Google (and other search engines including: Naver, Yahoo, Bing) and SEO (and learning more about SEO)
Prior experience in SEO with a Global audience and/or content marketing
Basic understanding of On-Page SEO (Title, META Descriptions, Internal Linking, etc.)
Off-Page Optimization (Basic Link building & Content Promotion)
Working knowledge of various SEO research and analysis
Understanding of Social Media, Email Marketing, and other online Marketing tactics
Fluent in English; A plus if you are fluent in one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Japanese
Preferred qualifications:
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
Have a passion for Digital Marketing
Knowledge and interest in the cryptocurrency industry is a strong plus
Comfortable with Search analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, etc.
Have the ability to act flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment – including dealing with changing processes and priorities
