Job Title: SHE Engineer
Report to: SHE Manager
Business Unit: Hydrocolloids
Location: Tongxiang

The Challenge
1. Support and proactively stimulate SHE at the site by providing, maintaining and assuring a framework of procedures, processes and training within the guidelines of DSM and local governmental safety, health and environmental requirements.
2. Having different roles, which include different disciplines
3. Comply with foreign legislations and requirements

The Position
1. Accountabilities:
1.1 Supervision of SHE compliance in the site and report SHE performance.
1.2 Responsible for the implantation of SHE programs and initiatives.
1.3 Organize SHE training for new employees and contractors.
1.4 Organize SHE inspection in the site and follow up correction.
1.5 Setting up the dangerous chemical list & MSDS and refresh them regularly.
1.6 Control and supervise the quality of work permit issuing
1.7 Report and assist investigation of incidents in the site and follow up the corrective actions.
1.8 Maintain all emergency equipment in a good & easy use condition in the site
1.9 Supervise safe use or operation of special equipment such as boiler, crane, safety valve and pressure equipment in plant.
1.10 Responsible for selecting the properly PPE, maintenance the safety stockage of PPE and following up the quality of PPE and usage situation.
1.11 Management of SHE documents

2. Authorities:
2.1 Classification of incidents, accidents etc.
2.2 Access to all information, systems, communication regarding SHE
2.3 Advise management on SHE issues
2.4 Advised of and access to all SHE information for the site
2.5 Auditing authority for the SHE compliance

The Ideal
1. University graduated;
2. Chemical Technology background is required;
3. 3-6 years of experience in relating or similar roles/sectors are preferred to carry out the job
4. English, moderate
5. Chemical process, moderate
6. Facility knowledge, moderate
7. SHE management, moderate
