The Siemens Rail Automation Saudi Branch General Manager is the overall responsible for Siemens Mobility businesses at the region, managing the local team and resources at its higher level for the best Siemens interest, and always under the Siemens Governance and compliance framework. The main aim of this position is to develop and improve the local company strategy fully aligned with Siemens Rail Automation vision, mission and project program strategy, while managing current projects in a best practice principle, and reporting adequately its performance.
The following requirements are needed for the proper accomplishment with the position performance:
Academic Report:
- Electrical, Electronical and/or Telecommunication Engineering
- Financial Knowledge (profit and loss, balance, financial indicators)
- Master
- Project Management: PMP Certificate
- Excel, world, Power Point and Projects/Primavera knowledge
Knowledge and Experience:
- Railway knowledge and Experience at the following systems:
o Signals: LED, Alphanumeric, fixed plates.
o Point Machines and End Position Detectors.
o Track Vacancy Detection Systems (Axle Counters, Track Circuits).
o Train Protection Systems: ETCS L2.
o Technical Buildings: Civil Works, Plumbing, Electrical circuit, Air Conditioned, Fire Fighting...
o Interlocking and its auxiliar modules.
o Centralized Control Centre.
Skills:
- Strategy Thinking
- Management skills: The General Manager needs to manage the overall local resources to get the best from each of them.
- Team Building: The success of the company is based on a great work environment which is based in the motivation and expectations.
- Communication skills: The information should flows adequately between all the different stakeholders.
Experience:
o 10 years of previous experience at Railway transportation projects
o Previous experience as Deputy General Manager.
o Previous experience in Project Management (project Manager and/or Deputy Project Manager).
o 5 years of experience at Middle East projects. It will valuable previous experience at Saudi Arabia, and at the Makkah-Madinah High Speed Railway project.
Other requirements:
- Language: English. Spanish and/or Arabic will be valuable.
- Availability for travelling.
- Car Driving License.

- Managing the relationship with the Spanish Saudi Train project Consortium, its entities and with the Reginal Siemens company.
- Adequate reporting to the different stakeholders.

- Maintenance and Construction management.
The General Manager is the visible representative of Siemens values at the region, and a key position for the company success. The GM will report directly to Siemens Mobility Spain Customer Service International.
