Job Summary To be the Business Partner for SIOP deployment and execution for the ESS Business Unit within the Critical Systems Division of Electrical Sector in EMEA, working across functions to facilitate the preparation of a single consensus financial and operational plan each month. To be the Business Partner for SIOP deployment and execution for the Central East sales region within the Electrical Sector in EMEA, helping the country teams to prepare a robust demand plan each month leveraging all relevant market intelligence and approved by sales leadership with documented assumptions. To enable and continuously improve the linkage between the demand planning, supply planning, material planning and operational procurement teams in order to deliver optimal material flow to support customer sales. Job Responsibilities Being a change agent to effectively ensure adoption of the SIOP process by ensuring everyone understands that the SIOP process is the one way in which planning will be managed across the region to support profitable growth and the High 5 metrics. Dimension 1: Business Partner for the ESS Business Unit working with key stakeholders across several SIOP steps as outlined below: Working with Product Line Managers to ensure all relevant product changes (e.g. phase-in/phase-out, discontinuations and product revisions) are reflected in the demand plan and cascaded to DCs, manufacturing sites and suppliers as required through Eaton's ERP systems and supporting tools. Working with Supply Chain Coordinators and the Material Management team to ensure SIOP forecast volumes drive planning decisions including replenishment parameters, capacity planning, procurement of raw materials/components, and assembly of finished goods to optimize inventory planning and meet customer demand. Working with Division Leaders providing support to prepare and execute the CS Division SIOP Leadership Review and prepare for the Business Executive review. Facilitate a regular (quarterly or half-yearly) review of the long term demand outlook capturing feedback from both sales and product line teams, then work with the supply chain coordinators to evaluate the impact on our manufacturing capacity and required investment. Dimension 2: Business Partner and key communication link between the ESS Business and the Country Sales Organisations within the Central East sales region to ensure alignment on demand plan numbers and the supporting assumptions. Specifically ensuring a robust and accurate demand plan is prepared in each country every month using a combination of statistical forecasting techniques and market intelligence gathered from the commercial teams. Ensure the demand plan is reviewed, adjusted if required and ultimately approved by each country leader to use as the consensus input for supply planning and financial forecasting. Dimension 3: Provide linkage between demand planning, supply planning, material planning, order management and operational procurement teams supporting the ESS Business to ensure the most efficient flow of product to support customer sales. Specifically: Manage & monitor flow of data and data quality between Demantra - IBP - SAP, working with IT and business specialists to identify and fix issues Build reports using the new digital tools to deliver the required information to stakeholders (e.g. DCs, Plants, Suppliers) on a timely basis Act as a liaison between teams to investigate demand or supply discrepancies within our systems and fix issues as appropriate Work on projects to improve usage of planning data in our execution systems, for example deployment of forecast load Work with financial controllers to provide inputs to the financial forecasting process and explain discrepancies vs actual or expected results Qualifications Qualifications Preferred education level: Degree educated. Years and area of experience required: 5+ years in relevant role. Technical knowledge: SCM, SIOP, ERP systems, Demand Planning. Soft skills: Change management, ability to work in matrix, analytical, results oriented, process minded, customer orientated, coaching, influencer, strong communication skills.
