SMT Engineer

Job Description
Participates as core member of NPI team in al phases of project and new products implementation. Prepares process documentation including standard work packages, manufacturing instructions and process specifications in a visual format. Analyses and updates BOMs. Tracks failures, prepares root cause analysis reports and propose corrective actions. Manages PCBA changes on the production line in accordance with design changes. Develops standard work and manufacturing process documentation defining the operation of the PCBA SMT equipment. Recommends and supports implementation of actions that drive continuous improvement. Offers support to a variety of personnel including technicians, quality engineers, inspectors, planners. Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metric Work with wider team to ensure timely resolution of all production issues. Ensure absolute adherence to all Quality system, Company Safety System and Lean System requirements. Supports process development and cost improvement activities within the company. Qualifications Technical University: Electrotechnics /Electronics Engineering. Minimum 3 years experience in SMT processes. Knowledge of SMT placement process, equipment and equipment programming/optimization (preferable: Panasonic systems). Knowledge of AOI equipment hardware & programming. Understanding of electrical circuits schemes. Basic knowledge of SMT equipment troubleshooting/maintenance. Basic knowledge of IPC guidelines. We make what matters work.
