The Semi-Custom System on Chip (SOC) Architecture Organization is looking for SOC Architect(s) to join our team. This team works hand in hand with our design, validation, customers, and vendors to deliver best-in-class Architectures for the next generation of SOCs targeted for cutting edge technologies such as AI, FHE, Memory Pooling, Autonomous driving, Server class Accelerators etc.
 

We are looking for SOC architect for an exciting new subsystem architecture. It integrates P/E cores with Netspeed Network on Chip (NoC) and addresses all Intel specific features needed for Internal and External SOCs.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct Tech Readiness for various features for the Subsystem
  • Develop High level Architecture Specification for various SOC components needed for the features
  • Work with Design, Validation, BE to implement microarch of the features
  • Work with product architects to map product requirements
  • Identify opportunities to innovate on future NOC solutions.
  • Perform performance and performance/watt modeling, estimate gate count, power using SystemC, Simics, NOC studio, PlatformArchitect, other tools.
  • Become domain expert of the subsystem, consult multiple projects, train other engineers.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates

Minimum skills and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience. OR a master's degree with 6+ years of industry experience. OR a Ph.D. with 4+ years of  industry experience.

Your experience must be in the following:   

  • Computer architecture, simulation-based performance modeling, and performance analysis
  • Experience in any of Fabrics, AXI, IDI, UPI, CXL, IOSF, PCIe
  • Memory subsystems, Coherent Caches, Non-coherent subsystems
  • Experience in any of Power Management, RAS, Debug/DFT, Vtd, Security
  • Experience of any of x86, ARM, RISC-V

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Nice to have experience in Netspeed / Cadence/Synopsys/ Arteris NOC, Coherent and Non-coherent fabrics
  • Experience in SystemC/ Performance and Power simulations is a plus
  • Specification development, RTL Coding, C/C++/Python is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
