Come join Intel's Xeon and Networking Engineering (XNE) Group, responsible for designing networking and server SoCs.
We are looking for innovative SoC Design Engineers ready to research, design, develop, and test new Intel designs as we re-imagine how to build SoCs and semiconductors at Intel and in the semiconductor industry.
This role is within Intel's XNE Design Engineering Group, in Austin, Texas. Our goal is to create world-changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth and this role is instrumental in furthering our mission to shape the future of technology.
Your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
Influence project execution and methodology while working with both external and internal tool vendors
Create SoC designs for Intel's flagship servers, including micro-architecture development and RTL coding and integration
Validate design and micro-architectural implementation and assumptions
Automate tasks to complete the design in the most efficient fashion possible
Participate in Silicon debug
In addition to the qualifications below, the ideal candidate will also have/be:

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience - OR - a Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 2+ years of experience with:
Design principles and techniques in one or more of the following:
Micro-architecture definition
Validation development
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with:
Pre- or post-silicon ASIC verification/validation
OVM and UVM methodologies
Verilog and System Verilog coding and debug
Scripting languages such as Python or Perl
Synthesis and Timing Analysis
RTL development

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
