The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To expand the technology that provides us with advantages in programmable solutions, we are looking for a phenomenal intern to join our high-powered team.

As SOC Design Engineering Intern, you will have an integral role with the Intel PSG Platform Board Hardware Engineering team, designing innovative architectures, production test platforms, and regression test systems to deliver FPGA development kits for high performance and high quality FPGA solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities are but not limited to developing and supporting Software and RTL designs for test and debug of FPGA development kits and engineering boards. Candidate has to work cross-functionally with other engineering teams, including Hardware, Software, Apps teams.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must be pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

6+ months of experience in:

• Verilog and/or VHDL

• C/C++

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scripting languages (Perl and/or TCL)

• FPGA

$52,000.00-$147,000.00
