Job Description

Come and be a part of the team creating SoC and chip-set designs and products for Intel Architecture. This internship is a highly visible role within the Chip-Sets Silicon Group Front-End Integration and Validation team. The successful candidate will work across teams including FC, IP Design, FW, SD, emulation, and validation, will gain exposure on platform architecture, design, and features, and will participate in debug at various level of the hierarchy.

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following traits:

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Candidate must be pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field and have 6+ months of academic exposure to the following:

  • Computer Architecture

  • System Verilog / OOP, SoC-level design

  • Simulation-based tools and debugs

  • Verification

  • Scripting

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
