Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for CPU and SOC Post-Si product Power/Perf measurements, debug and optimization.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Driving Power debug/correlation between Pre-Si projections and Post-Si measurements.

  • Executing system level studies to characterize, tune and optimize Product Power and Performance features.

  • Interacting and communicating with Architecture, Design, IP COEs and validation teams for Power/Perf debug and optimization.

  • Influencing the future products with Si learnings and provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • BS EE/CpE + 6 years of experience, MS + 4 years of Design and/or Architectural expertise.

  • Solid understanding of Circuit/Logic Design and Computer architecture.

  • Excellent software and debug skills.

  • Willingness to work in a competitive team environment.


The following experience/knowledge would be an added advantage:

  • Power/Perf debug expertise.

  • Power Management experience.

  • Power and/or Perf modeling and Si measurement experience.
