The Role:
To cooperate with Popsockets suppliers to maintain and improve the quality of the products according to company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and foster effective partnerships with suppliers.
  • Ensure suppliers adherence to Popsockets Quality Control standards, test procedures and quality system requirements by implementing the related quality control audit, quality system audit and the training, etc.
  • Work with suppliers to conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions to achieve and maintain < 500 DPPM.
  • Work with Popsockets Operations and Quality team to resolve issues that are not plant controllable.
  • Develop inspection procedures and best methods for performing inspections.
  • Work with Popsockets Engineering and Quality teams to analyze historical issues and create required control plans to prevent these issues from occurring in future programs.
  • Develop projects to support World Class Manufacturing and Lean principles to continuously improve supplier and manufacturing quality.
Requirements:
  • Hard good manufacturing quality improvement experience
  • Relevant undergraduate engineering degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering/supplier quality experience.
  • Lean / Six sigma training (certification preferred) with implementation experience in hard good manufacturing
  • Proven analytical ability as a way to problem solve
  • Exceptional critical thinking and active listening skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports and presentations
  • Willingness to periodically work outside of normal business hours
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn, develop and implement new processes.
