PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• As Supply Quality Engineer, you will be in charge of the qualification of supplier manufacturing process as well as Project Management & Zero Defect Delivery. Your job or task will cover but not be limited to the followings:

• Drawing Interpretation and manufacturing engineering feasibility evaluation for local production or sourcing in Asian LCC;

• Development & Assessment of Manufacturing, Debarring and Gaging Process (PFD, PFMEA, PCP, Work or Inspection Instruction) with potential suppliers;

• Develop, evaluate and manage APQP/PPAP, audit and qualify supplier’s Manufacturing, Deburring, Cleaning, Gaging and Packing process;

• Hands‐on implement source inspection / cause detection and statistical inference for Prototype/OTS samples, PPAP and Run @ Rate, train and help supplier to improve key process;

• Work with suppliers to continuously improve their process by quality methodologies like DOE;

• Follow up 8D actions and closing audit / source inspection findings, conduct yearly supplier;

• performance appraisal and motive supplier continuous improvement in quality, cost, delivery;

• process development and management performance;

• Coordinate and push project moving forward between local suppliers and global assembly plants, keep project on schedule as well as ensure zero defect & on time delivery with good quality;

• Perform other duties as assigned from Supplier Quality Manager.
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION BACKGROUND, KNOWLEDGE AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor Degree or higher, major in material, mechanical, hydraulic automation or industry engineering;

• At least 5 years supplier quality working experience in the automotive industry;

• At least 5‐year technical working experience in manufacturing associated fields of Powder Metal, casting, stamping, etc.

• Knowledge of automotive ISO/TS & G D&T standards, APQP, SPC, MSA and PPAP procedure;

• In‐depth experience TQM, Six‐sigma or Lean Thinking;

• Very experienced user of Microsoft Office package;

• With strong work spirit and sense of quality;

• Good coordination and communication skill;

• Good organizing and planning skills;

• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin;

• Fluent in written and spoken English;

• Excellent interpersonal skills;

• Strong self‐initiator;

• Confident;

• Willing to work in Changshu and with high frequent travels;

• Integrity.
