Micron’s Taiwan sites include sales and technical support in Taipei along with state-of-the-art fabrication facilities in Taichung and Taoyuan that together comprise the company’s DRAM Center of Perfection. The Center’s goal is to achieve the most efficient and effective technology transfer and manufacturing ramp by combining front- and back-end manufacturing, product engineering and technology development roles.

Job Description

As a Finished Goods Manager, you will be responsible for the direct management of processes and personnel related to Micron and Finished Goods at the local site level. You will also be responsible for establishing the direction of Finished Goods functions for the global sites and for working to maintain shipment process uniformity world-wide.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Manage, Develop, and Provide Feedback on Employee Performance

  • Provide feedback to employees on performance and counsel on career development
  • Set performance goals for employees to meet
  • Provide direction to employees on daily and broader scope tasks
  • Document and resolve performance issues

Ensure Process Alignment

  • Ensure that the Finished Goods processes are aligned where necessary across global sites and function
  • Define necessary process change and communicate the change where necessary
  • Perform global audits yearly to ensure sites are aligned
  • Monitor site level implementation of change
  • Participate in Area Prioritization Meetings for request rankings

Monitor Forecast and Output Requirements to Fulfill Business Unit Expectations

  • Monitor area function and activity to ensure proper staffing levels, equipment, and materials are available
  • Monitor forecasts to ensure that proper staffing levels, equipment, and materials are available
  • Prepare data and help to drive requests for additional staffing or equipment
  • Provide guidance to other sites for equipment needs and staffing plans

Respond to Internal and External Customer Needs

  • Ensure customer requirements are reviewed and responded to and monitor progress towards implementation
  • Participate in customer audits where necessary
  • Provide historical information for shipping activity

Provide Security and Accountability of Materials and Goods

  • Ensure proper inventory controls are in place and active
  • Monitor the process to ensure that all controls are being followed
  • Ensure that all compliance needs are implemented and followed

Oversee Fulfillment Cost Management

  • Work to implement cost structure to monitor area costs
  • Help global sites maintain local cost models
  • Drive cost goals to achieve best in class cost for fulfillment

Participate in Negotiation and Evaluation of Partner Performance to Expectations

  • Monitor cost structure and performance
  • Monitor performance expectations and expected Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure partners are following necessary controls established for inventory and standard business functions
  • Participate in regular business reviews with partners
  • Conduct site audits of partner facilities
  • Build Up a strong & cohesive Team un the leadership
  • Strong project management skills & experience
  • Quality: Maintain best quality in daily operation to support both internal and external Customers
  • Cycle Time: Ensure transit time are within target
  • Delivery: Understand customers requirement and provide the best we can achieve
  • Safety: Maintain a safe work environment for team members
