Job Description
What are my responsibilities?
Execution of CM activities; sub-project management in small and clear defined development projects; compilation of CM plans; execution of archiving and generation; compilation of CM documentation (configuration lists, ...); provision of clearly identifiable configuration objects.
Planning and creation of methodology and infrastructure: Definition of transfer procedures; administration and maintenance CM system; introduction, supervision and application of SW-metric-tools and SW-code-analysis-tools in configuration management.
Compilation of documentation for reporting (CM statistics, change reports)
Agreement with colleagues within the framework of configuration management: promotes co-operation and team spirit; co-ordination of all supplying and receiving partners for SW handovers within a project.
Definition of the quality criteria (platform, framework) of a project or product respectively together with architects, build manager, test manager, project manager and SW-experts to ensure quality of architectural properties (maintainability, consistency, compatibility, expandability, sizing, performance, robustness, testability etc.)

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor degree or above, at least 8 years work experience in software develpopment
'Preferred experience of configuration managment, making configuration plan for large software system, from concept design up to release.
Good skills on communication with international culture team.
Good skills on confliction managment and risk recognition and managment.
Preferred basic knowledge and experience of systematic design and value benefit analysis
Preferred experience of risk assessment and risk mitigation planning.
Good know-how on build automation.
Advanced knowledge of using tools for configuraiton management/version control (such as ClearCase).
Advanced knowledge on build managment.
Good knowledge and sense of software development and test process.
Basic knowledge of modern software engineering and software framework
Basic knowledge of software design engineering systems programs, incl. compile and build system, script engineering, automation test tool, etc.
Good English, business level.
