What are my responsibilities?
? Leadership of the ITT China team in the Design Thinking for advanced Innovation and applying the methodology on the execution of innovation projects in China (e.g. requirements finding, brainstorming, visualization, implementation and prototyping)
? Coordination between ITT team in China and ITT HQ in Germany
? Responsible for building up and managing a community of team members to ensure the knowledge
? Acquisition and utilization of knowledge concerning the innovation trends in business and technology
? Innovation process and program leadership for advanced innovation projects
? Responsible for defining, planning, prioritization, and managing the execution of the projects
? Scope the future of ITT team by defining and leading strategic topics to advanced innovation projects in China for growth of organization
? Work and coordinate with global connected intercultural and interdisciplinary project teams in Innovation Think Tank labs worldwide
? Maintaining and developing collaborations with business units and universities.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
? Master degree or above in relevant field or above, Engineering background preferred
? At least one year working or studying experience overseas
? At least one year working or internship experience in multinational companies
? At least 8 months of working experience in Innovation Think Tank labs worldwide

Knowledge/Capability:

• Strong analytical Design Thinking for Innovation / Customer centered design in theory and practice
• Strong design skills, e.g. 2D/3D visualization, hands-on prototyping, rapid prototyping (3D printing), Technical knowledge and skills is highly desirable
• Ability to manage structured innovation processes, present ideas with visualizations and execute ideas within a schedule, while actively participating in identifying problems and finding solutions
• Good business and costumer understanding for cultural differences across countries
• Industry/client know-how (strategies, technologies, business perspectives)
• Project management, marketing, business development/acquisition, customer relationship skills
• Team building skills, Team leadership, coaching, passionate and driven for innovation,
• High communication skills, negotiation skills

? Experience:
- Experience in Innovation Think Tank training process or equivalent - innovation management, communication, ideation, idea management, 3i and team management in intercultural team

• Working experience with other Business Units (e.g. R&D, Marketing, project management etc.) is preferred
• Experience with design thinking (and similar concepts) for innovation
• Experience in industry and experience with technical projects is highly desirable
• Workshop experience incl. moderation techniques, methods of discussion and cooperation
• Experience with planning and execution of events and conferences for project presentation

? Fluent in spoken and written English, German, Chinese
