Job Description:

As an SQE under Global Quality, you will manage the suppliers to provide engineering support for Design, Quality, Mfg & Procurement teams to ensure the manufacturability, quality and reliability targets are met, to partner with suppliers and internal stakeholder to define, review and agree on the critical to quality material parameters in FEMA & control plans.

You will manage the Supplier Quality Notification (SQN) and collaborating with supplier in support of change, qualification, FAI, IQC and other materials related issues and escalate for global review as needed. You will assist in the supplier development for Micron Supplier Quality Management program & IATF maturity on a global scale and make recommendations to continuously to improve the supplier quality management business processes.

Engineers inquiring about this position should be experienced in all aspects of ASIC reliability engineering, work with internal NVQRA team to review qualification plans and requirements. Experience in Storage products is desired as well as familiarity with Product and Test Engineering, reliability stress and test platforms and IC packaging.

Responsibilities:

• Work as supplier process SME, provide engineering support for internal operations activities
• Participate in on-site audit as need
• Manage technical and quality communications with suppliers.
• Manage tactical qualification activities for new suppliers/materials.
• Manage supplier performance/capability review in QBR, ASE and TRM with other cross function teams.
• Provide technical support to Micron business partners and external customers.
• Support cross functional team in the Key Material Group.
• Support new production introduction activities.
• Drive supplier quality improvement activities to meet zero defect

Qualification Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written in both Mandarin and English.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Material Science/Physics or related field with more than 5 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred
• Strong engineering background, familiar with tools like APAP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, 8D…etc.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 requirement and IATF 16949 is preferred.
• Experience of backend manufacturing in Package development and Assembly process.
• Willing to work under pressure and self-managed.
• Capable of Domestic/international travel frequently for supplier audit, visit and other business needs.
