With the R&D department the SW Continuous Integration/Release Engineer will play a key role. You will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments. The software integration and release job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments. You will also work with tools team to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.

The software integration and release responsibilities also include building the integration schedule working closely with the release stream managers and "centralizing" view of all releases. You will assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured.

 

You are responsible for:

  • Optimize Continuous Integration (CI) process
  • Define, monitor and improve CI process steps in alignment with project teams and stakeholders, e.g. define different test levels for CI process steps.
  • Work on release criteria and integration schedule
  • Maintain integration schedule, drive conflict resolution and ensure alignment between cross-functional team and stakeholder.
  • Define, monitor, improve release criteria in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Prepare management checkpoints
  • Integration Team Product Owner
  • Responsible for driving improvements within the integration team
