Job Description

As part of the Software Solutions team from the Automated Transportation and Infrastructure Division, you will help us to build software and tools to support the creation of advanced solutions in the space of the Automated Mobile Robots/ Automated Guided Vehicles. You will work with a great international team of software engineers and architects. This will give you the chance to learn from the experts, complementary to having access to a great collection of learning materials!


Your responsibilities will include:
- Integration of software components in Docker containers.
- Writing ROS sample applications to validate integration.
- Creation of automated tests.
- Creation of tutorials in Github, documenting the usage of sample applications.


A good level of English is mandatory (conversational + understanding technical documentation).
If you are available for a full-time internship that is highly desired, but a part-time employment (20 hours/week) is also possible.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
- good English skills and proficiency with Linux at least at a medium level;
- general knowledge of and basic experience with robotics technologies (ROS2, SLAM algorithms...);
- Docker;
- Github.
- C++, Bash, Python

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
