Responsibilities
- Analysis of Automated Driving (L3-L5 automation) system software for regulatory compliance to safety for all Mercedes-Benz Car variants for all markets
- Developing AD system safety analysis framework
- Simulation of analytical outcome
- Writing Technical Reports and Presentation of Analysis results
- Reverse engineering of Matlab Simulink models and C-code
- Identification of Software modules with high impact on safety
- Identify interdependency of functions in different controllers


Qualification and skills:

- Bachelor/Master degree/PhD in Electronics. AI, ML, Data Science, Control systems related branch
- Autonomous driving (AD) system knowledge
- Knowhow of machine learning/ artificial intelligence applied to camera/lidar/radar sensing
- System level know-how of AD sensors, sensor fusion, trajectory planning
- Flexibility to work in co-creating international team
- High Analytical and Documentation Skills
- Good Communication and Presentation Skills
- Software architecture of Automated Driving
