Position Description: • Identify regional safety regulations and requirements for server and PSU. • Interpret Safety standards for efficient execution of compliance design and sample plan. • Co-work with project teams on physical design review, pre-test and provide analysis on the safety disposition against product definition for users. • Interface with project teams on a regular basis to ensure new designs will meet the requirements for global regions. • Achieve the safety Report and Certificates on time delivery. • Audit and Manage CBTL and certify body in terms of engineering quality, facility, test cases plan and service package. Ensure system report quality and succeed. • Provide safety professional consulting to Market team as well as to design team, manufacturing partners and supply chain. #### Position Requirements: • Bachelor degree in an Engineering or technical field. • Experience in safety standard and requirements. • Experience with regulatory processes related to and launching mass produced datacenter electronics. Ability and experience coordinating team members from multiple disciplines to complete required compliance processes and documentation. • Thorough understanding of design for sustainability concepts: extension of useful certification version, FRU maintenance and post-GA filed safety issue support. • Familiar with mandatory standards.  Ability to negotiate with authority on requirements interpretation. • Plan project kick off and schedule meeting with testing lab and ODM vendors on design, test and schedule. • Skill for technical communication and conference meeting in English. • Understanding of server subsystems (CPU, memory, storage, network) and environmental conditions • Practical experience with Windows Server and Linux OS installation and administration • Familiarity with Server product design, system structure as well as specific Safety and RF regulatory requirements. • Familiar with voluntary initiatives: PTCRB, GCF, Carrier approval.
