The Finance & Administration department within IKEA of Sweden is a reliable and professional service provider that helps the many co- workers do their job efficiently in an inspiring atmosphere. F&A is responsible to support the core business with a variety of workplace and financial related services for different INTER IKEA companies located in Sweden.
 

You will provide support to the various levels of management in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our co-workers and visitors and in protecting our assets and the IKEA brand. You will also maintain an overall risk awareness and control culture and compliance with internal Inter IKEA and external legal demands. 

You will be based in the heart of IKEA Älmhult and report to the Finance & Administration Manager Jari Arhoff.

Your daily tasks will include:

•    Lead the proactive safety and security work in the working environments of all IKEA of Sweden sites. 
•    Ensure a safe and secure environment for all co-workers and visitors by securing compliance with internal and external demands.
•    Execute investigations according to the Inter IKEA Group rule of investigations when required. 
•    Identify and mitigate health, safety & security risks using the Risk Management Process 
•    Communicate, create awareness, coach and train co-workers to ensure that IKEA intended level of health, safety & security are known and implemented.  
•    Work in partnership with the organizational Management Teams in IKEA of Sweden regarding sensitive issues.
•    Actively support the crisis management process.
•    Secure compliance, analysis and follow up towards internal reviews on safety and security.

You are an experienced leader who lead through others and are able to navigate a complex stakeholder network.

 You have experience of change management as well as good communication skills. With your communication skills you are able to create relationships and trust on all levels of the organisation. You are able to work in both the operational and tactical dimension to be able to move the Safety and Security agenda forward. 

Furthermore we believe you:

•    Have extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety and security policies, standards, rules, manuals, tools and knowledge of insurance policies and claim handling procedures
•    Have the ability to conduct and document health, safety & security checks & reviews
•    Have an understanding of the Risk Management Process 
•    Have a genuine  interest in health, safety & security and by this also for the well-being of people
