Responsibilities:

• Exercise the duties of a Safety Supervisor as laid down in the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors)(Amendment)Regulations;
• Implement all site safety requirements as laid down in the Health and Safety Policy and the Project Safety Plan;
• Take action to rectify unsafe conditions and practices and to implement safety measures as recommended by the Safety Officer;
• Perform safety training on sites;
• Take disciplinary action against employees violating safety regulations;
• Attend the weekly joint site safety inspections and the site safety committee meetings as and when required and actively contribute to the promotion of health and safety on Site;
• Provide support to safety officers in all accident / incident investigations;
• Any other duties as instructing by his/her supervisors

Requirements:

• Minimum Form 5 level;
• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or Holder of Safety and Health Supervisor (Construction) Course Certificate run by OSHC or other approved training organizations is a must;
• Minimum 1 years solid site safety experience in large scale construction projects;
• Experience in or familiar with Safety Audit would be an advantage;
• PC skill in MS Words, Excel and PowerPoint would be an advantage;
• Well organized, good communication and interpersonal skills
