The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate high capabilities of selling equipment, Point of Sales Service customer upgrade path or management tools software as well as Installed Base Development solutions (IBD). As a Sales Area Manager you will be responsible for: Promoting and generating sales to meet annual target and develop exceptional customer relationship Collaborating with Regional Director of Sales (DOS, Business and Service Managers, Professional Sales Expert to develop annual strategy to ensure territory and regional maximum sales performance for all Siemens portfolio within Siemens-Healthineers Achieving or exceeding target objectives set for sales of equipment/POS Assessing customer/business opportunities for Equipment Sales and develop/maintain plans to maximize business performance in the assigned sales area Implementing sales plans following Siemens-Healthineers 5 guiding values; conduct calls to close sales of equipment to targeted customers Monitoring the full sales process, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customer stakeholders ensuring customer satisfaction Fulfilling all efforts possible to conclude Siemens Service Agreements. (POS) Developing and fostering customer relationships to establish a network of leaders and managers within the assigned territory Following and discussing equipment market trends within the assigned territory and with colleagues Maintaining current knowledge of the products and services Presenting and discussing the technology and benefits in a clear concise manner that is applicable to the customers Understanding the Local and Regional operational and clinical challenges the customer is addressing Attending conferences and technical exhibitions to promote Siemens-Healthineers solutions Communicating with the PSS (Professional Sales Service) team member on the services and solutions offered, and existing or new contracts Maintaining accurate CRM information at all times in company CRM database This position may suit you best if what is below sounds appealing to you, in addition to wanting to develop your career with Healthineers. · Demonstrated success at meeting and exceeding goals · Knowledgeable with Canadian healthcare system with strong understanding of operational structure · Experienced in working with internal team members and external customer to provide relevant sales solutions · Strong communicator; able to convey difficult and complicated issues into a simple message · Works well with people at all levels · Able to manage conflict in a professional manner · Willing to share information and knowledge with colleagues and customers · Strong focuses on customer satisfaction · Takes responsibility for decisions and projects · Strong computer skills are required, including good knowledge of Excel, Outlook and various Databases Required skills to have for the success of this role: Undergraduate degree/diploma, major in business or in the medical technology field Possess 3+ years of Service Product Sales experience or experience selling capital equipment into hospitals Individuals with specific Diagnostic Imaging Sales experience will be given preference Fluent speaking and writing in English language Siemens Healthineers is proud to be a Great Place to Work® certified company in Canada for 2020-2023, 2022 Best Workplaces™ in Manufacturing, 2022 Best Workplaces™ for Health Care and 2022 Best Workplaces™ for Hybrid Work.
