Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Primary Interface with the customer purchasing departments.
- Identify market opportunities with existing and new customers
- Lead the sales/quote function for new business acquisition.
- Work with the customer purchasing departments to receive RFQ (Request for Quote) and distribute to the organization internally.
- Motivate and Drive the internal organization to make sure the quote deadlines are met.
- Sales planning and reporting
- Contract management
- Adequately represent the customers internally as VOC (voice of customer)
- Accomplish the sales revenue target and get payment on time
- Analysis on annual price reduction requirement by OEM
- Maintain regular communication with all customers, both internal and external
- Act as single point contact for customer issues
Qualifications:
- Understanding of customer needs and ability to put together a sales strategy to fulfill those needs
- Good understanding of cost development and pricing levels including profitability
- Comfortable in presenting to the customer in both groups and individually
- Ability to work internally with all levels and departments
- Proven track record of team leadership, problem solving, and working with International Teams
- Automotive Experience is desired but not required
- Able to develop product knowledge and understanding of internal manufacturing process
