Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Primary Interface with the customer purchasing departments.
  • Identify market opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Lead the sales/quote function for new business acquisition.
  • Work with the customer purchasing departments to receive RFQ (Request for Quote) and distribute to the organization internally.
  • Motivate and Drive the internal organization to make sure the quote deadlines are met.
  • Sales planning and reporting
  • Contract management
  • Adequately represent the customers internally as VOC (voice of customer)
  • Accomplish the sales revenue target and get payment on time
  • Analysis on annual price reduction requirement by OEM
  • Maintain regular communication with all customers, both internal and external
  • Act as single point contact for customer issues

Qualifications:


  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to put together a sales strategy to fulfill those needs
  • Good understanding of cost development and pricing levels including profitability
  • Comfortable in presenting to the customer in both groups and individually
  • Ability to work internally with all levels and departments
  • Proven track record of team leadership, problem solving, and working with International Teams
  • Automotive Experience is desired but not required
  • Able to develop product knowledge and understanding of internal manufacturing process
