What we do
Northern Trust’s international business has grown dramatically over the last decade. Some of our largest clients are located in Asia and Australia, which represents a rapidly growing client base for the company. Since 1986, we have been serving clients in Asia-Pacific (APAC), including corporate pension funds, investment managers, insurance companies, government agencies, family offices and corporations. Our intricate understanding of the region allows us to provide unique insights and strategic perspectives to our clients. Currently, we have client offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur.

What you will do
You will provide end-to-end sales process support to our energetic sales team. This will involve the following:

  • Producing sales / management reports on a regular and ad hoc basis. Updating and maintaining internal CRM records.
  • Conducting research with an understanding of the market to assist with prospecting and sales. Maintaining up to date market research and prospect database.
  • Prepare RFP documents; reviewing RFP responses to ensure it alignment with sales.
  • Coordinating all internal processes and management review of live deals. Coordinating responses from internal stakeholders to address prospect’s questions.
  • Preparing pricing models and proposals.
  • Prepare, support and coordinate all aspects relating to sales presentations and due diligence visits such as presentation booklets, supporting sales material, briefing memos and sessions, agendas, etc.
  • Assisting with the preparation of conferences where needed. Managing NT event follow-ups and keeping track of new opportunities from attendees.
  • Management and administration of internal forums.
Your Knowledge/Skills
  • A high level of proficiency in MS Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to think analytically (good with numbers) required to effectively prepare sales collateral and financial modelling
  • A good grasp of Northern Trust and our products would be an advantage
  • Ability to manage priorities, multiple deadlines and work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to effectively work with and manage relationships with internal partners (SMEs)
