Position Summary:
The Sales Associate Manager is responsible for leading and coaching a team of Sales Associates that expand our reach into untapped markets and accounts, and drive Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) that ultimately lead to new business growth. The SA Manager will report to the Regional Product Sales Managing Director.
This position is critical to leading, managing and inspiring a team of energetic individuals who will prospect into the new accounts, markets and industries where Bentley doesn’t have a current footprint. Bentley’s vast and diverse portfolio of products and solutions continue to create new business opportunities to pursue, and we need your help. This position is full-time with base salary plus commission.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Hire, onboard, develop, mentor and manage a team of Sales Associates.
- Plan and execute SA outbound calling campaigns, lead generation activities, and email campaigns in consultation with Regional Product Sales Managing Director.
- Develop appropriate call scripts and email scripts to support campaigns.
- Develop, implement, oversee and report on best practices on developing Sales Qualified Leads.
- Develop and maintain effective metrics for driving and maintaining the required level of SA daily and weekly activities.
- Provide activity and performance reports to the Regional Director.
- Continually research and apply industry best practices with regards to the day to day management and leadership of a Sales Development Team.
- Investigate and implement various lead tools, market reports, and industry lists for mining accounts, contacts and projects to engage in a targeted sales campaign.
- Organize, run and manage multi-touch email and call campaigns to engage with new prospects.
- Develop and continually improve Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) criteria.
- Learn and implement the Bentley Sales Process.
- Daily communication, management and motivation of your team.
What You Bring To The Team:
- 3 - 5 years of previous management experience in sales, marketing, or related business function.
- Experience in conducting cold calling, sales campaigns, email marketing, and social selling.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, campaigns, and priorities.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and proactively with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
