For the Electrical Systems and Services (ESS) EMEA Business Unit - Sales & Business Development organization, we are looking for a: Sales / Business Development Manager - Data Centres - Electrical Systems & Services Reporting into the Manager Sales & Business Development, in this position you will be responsible for Systems & Services Sales for the ESS EMEA Business Unit within the defined segments. The main tasks are (pre-)sales activities, realizing plan numbers, and positioning Eaton as a successful supplier for selected customers for the defined segment Data Centres. The role is situated (on the hierarchical scale) 2 levels below the EMEA management - General Manager of the ESS EMEA Business Unit. Your key deliverables: Directly responsible for meeting the sales objectives within the above-mentioned segments Manage and realize pre-sales and sales activities of the above-mentioned defined segments, together with Eaton Country Sales Organizations EMEA (25 organizations) and Eaton Segment Sales Organizations Prepare and execute the sales plan as aligned with annual Profit plan figures and aligned with directions from the Manager Sales & Business Development and General manager of the Business Unit (BU) Build and maintain a healthy project pipeline and reviews this monthly with the sales organization Perform specific defined additional sales activities outside the region, if necessary due to market environment changes or due to opportunities that fit Eaton’s strategy Define and describe the segment key accounts (Account Plan) and provide specific details about the project/tender horizon, including specific tendering projects and sales opportunities Manage the selling process, including the RFQ and quotation stages Give input to the Strategic Plan and the Product Roadmap Write and present papers at international conferences, i.e. PCIC (Petroleum & Chemical Industry Committee), CIRED (International Conference on Electricity Distribution) or Data-Centre conferences Provide inputs to the departmental key metrics Work closely together with colleagues in a professional manner Qualifications Are you? Educated at bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering? Additional Business Administration and Sales education is preferred. Coming with 5-7 years of experience in project sales in an international B2B environment? Possessing excellent knowledge of the switchgear products (400V-36kV), applications and understanding of distribution grids and its key products in the related segments? Having sound knowledge of the assigned market & channels? Possessing intercultural awareness and able to operate in a cross-border environment? Having a professional presence with customers and colleagues in line with Eaton leadership model? Good and punctual at reporting requests? Highly skilled with MS Office tools? Certified Data Center Specialist diploma preferred. Capable of interacting with external parties, at all levels: customers, consultants, channels, partners/system-integrators, official institutes and universities? Strong communicator in English and Dutch? Ready to travel up to 50-75% of the working time? Then we want to hear about you!
