Our Commercial Accounts Team is seeking a self-motivated individual to join us in a Sales Development role to identify, maximize, and close opportunities in their assigned Territory – ANZ. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quota-driven, sales environment, and have previous experience in developing B2B sales.
This position is critical to tapping into the new accounts, markets and industries where Bentley doesn’t have a current footprint. Bentley has a vast and diverse portfolio of products and solutions which continue to create new business opportunities to pursue, and we need your help.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales Engineers and Product Teams to develop targeted sales campaigns into net new accounts. This includes developing:
- Ideal Account Profile
- Ideal Prospecting Persona
- Point of View
- Campaign materials such as videos, webinars, collateral, etc.
- Build a continuous and predictable pipeline documented in CRM.
- Connect accounts and prospects with Bentley Product experts.
- Expertly use LinkedIn and other social media means to engage prospects.
- Utilize various lead tools, market reports, and industry lists for mining accounts, contacts and projects to engage in targeted sales campaigns.
- Run multi-touch email and call campaigns to engage with new prospects.
- Developing relationships at various levels within accounts through the use of direct sales.
- Prospect software solutions and services to companies that design, build, and operate infrastructure in the Territory.
- Respond to leads/prospects researching company solutions via corporate websites, trade-shows, seminars and collaborative sourcing efforts.
- Providing webinars to prospects for selected products and offers.
- Utilize company CRM and Reporting systems to manage and document sales leads, opportunities and forecast.
- Maintaining a high knowledge level of the company's products and services.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Fluent English language skills required.
- A hunter sales mentality and desire to overachieve on your target.
- 1 to 3 years of previous sales or cold-calling experience, or a polished professional looking to break into technology sales.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present written and verbal information to prospects via phone and email.
- Excellent collaboration skills with various internal teams.
- Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A willingness to learn and openness to feedback.
- Exposure to multi-national software companies and software subscription sales models an advantage.
- A confident and friendly manner and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. SAP experience a plus.
