Purpose of the job

• Responsible for the coordination and management of the sales resources within the allocated territory to deliver year on year growth in both volume

Main tasks and responsibilities

• To develop growth plans for the allocated territory, gain approval from Head RES China, and implement and execute these growth plans. To implement sufficient processes to measure the success of the growth plans with spares and retrofit given equal focus
• To manage the development of the MRP and treat achievement of the MRP the same as an annual budget
• To co-ordinate and manage the activities including visit plans of the Sales Managers and ensure we develop a culture of aggressive goal achievement – we consistently find ways to deliver our promises opposed to find reasons why we failed
• To ensure all Sales Managers provide prompt and accurate feedback on outstanding quotes to support effective forecasting – every sales person visibly owns their own prospect list
• To produce and own the RFC for Order Intake and Order Intake GP for the allocated territory
• To coach HIPOs for succession in the organization
• To actively drive “retrofit events” in the allocated territory to keep our customers aware that we can solve their problems – work with Retrofit Sales Team / Engineering to ensure we are portrayed as the industry leading problem solver
• To ensure our main parts customers are visited on a regular basis and their needs are efficiently looked after
• To support Sales Managers if any issues occur (customer, agents, internal process etc.)
• To work closely with the Head of Agent Management to ensure we treat and manage our agents as an extension to our own sales organization
• To work closely with the PPC teams to identify opportunities for improvement and jointly develop plans to deliver on these opportunities
• To work with the PPC teams to identify win back and white spot opportunities and provide the resource to deliver on these opportunities
• To support the operations function in resolving problems with contracts and managing the relationship with the end user to ensure it is maintained.
