Job Description
Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Responsibilities

  • Working in close cooperation with the country structures, is in charge of prospecting and sharing Key Account Plans (KAPs) with the Country Directors (CDs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs);
  • Understand customer mission, operational environment and priorities, broadens their understanding of Thales solutions in connection with their missions, and provide customer/market information to the marketing function;
  • Defines and implements the current and future business development, sales and marketing policy and is in charge of summarising and monitoring the business development, sales and marketing forecasts;
  • Manage the process of transforming the strategy into business development, sales and marketing;
  • Direct and coordinate all on-going business development, sales and marketing plan for an organisation or a part of it;
  • List and prioritise business development, sales and marketing plan in line with the organisation’s strategies and goals;
  • Ensure allocation of necessary resources to the portfolio, for each business development, project and/or sales and marketing plan;
  • Implement Portfolio control to ensure that the sales/marketing plan are in line with the business strategy and Governance rules;
  • Continuously monitor and control the sales and/or marketing plan of the portfolio, initiate corrective actions;
  • Take in orders through actions ranging from pre-sales to the latest stages of sales finalisation; this implies following up on new leads, detecting and seizing upon opportunities with customers and prospects, making bids and winning contracts by responding to calls for tenders, by submitting unsolicited tenders, and by signing contracts or orders, in line with the targets set as pertains to sales price and profitability and in connection with the contributing in-house departments
  • List and prioritise bids marketing plan in line with the organisation’s strategies and goals;
  • Ensure allocation of necessary resources to the portfolio, for each bid plan;
  • Implement Portfolio control to ensure that the bids plan are in line with the business strategy and Governance rules;
  • Continuously monitor and control the bids plan of the portfolio, initiate corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 10 years or above relevant working experience
  • Familiar with railway working environment
  • Good analytical skill and presentation skill
  • Able to work independently and with tight schedule
