The new company will be headquartered in San Jose, California, with aspirations to conduct an IPO and become a publicly traded U.S. company. As the current head of Intel’s Memory Business, Rob Crooke will lead the new company as CEO, with a number of Intel executives and senior leaders joining him to stand-up and grow the new company. The new venture combines elements of an established, successful Silicon Valley technology company with the spirit, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset of a start-up.

The newly formed company will continue to lead the world in innovating new Memory technologies and will soon be the second largest NAND memory company in the world by revenue.

This is an exciting time to join our NPSG Sales & Marketing team as a Sales Director of Asia Regional & Strategic Cloud Accounts, and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world.  As a Sales Director of Asia Regional & Strategic Cloud Accounts, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.  

The Sales Director of Asia Regional & Strategic Cloud Accounts for NAND Products & Solutions Group (NPSG) is a commissioned sales management position responsible for sales to targeted cloud service providers. 

The Sales Director of Asia Regional & Strategic Cloud Accounts will manage a regional team of sales professionals to achieve growth and hit sales goals including servicing our key cloud service providers regionally.   This individual is expected to understand key trends and opportunities in a way that aligns/adapts to local markets.   This individual will enable product strategies, roadmaps, plans and program execution to satisfy local customer needs.

As NPSG is a new product division and will evolve into a wholly owned subsidiary of SK Hynix, this position will also be responsible for identifying new strategic customers, developing programs to accelerate sales, and determine the most effective methods of doing business with this unique set of customers.

 

Required Skills

1) Keen understanding of the Storage and Memory marketplace

2) Experience selling to cloud service providers

3) Proven people management capabilities and experience building teams

4) Ability to conduct complex business negotiation inclusive of pricing, supply, alliances and multiparty business agreements

5) Demonstrated ability to interface and influence executives in key decision-making situations

6) Extensive experience interacting with internal & external stakeholders to obtain required support and achieve sales results in the field

7) Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with proven ability to execute effectively across teams

8) Strong verbal and written communication skills

9) Regular business travel is required

Qualifications

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, STEM or related... Master's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of direct sales management experience, or 5+ years equivalent direct large account management experience
