Apex Fund Services (HK) Limited is seeking to hire a Senior Sales professional in its APAC Fund Solutions team.  The role will be based in Hong Kong. The role will consist in driving sales efforts for Apex’s Fund Solutions in Hong Kong. It will include achieving sales goals, maximizing market penetration and contributing to revenue growth.   Candidate who understands the local market and has good sales track record will be considered.   An attractive sales commission scheme will be offered to the suitable candidate.   

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive for sales performance to meet sales target
  • Understand the local market and market players as well as the Apex’s suit of products and services 
  • Promote/introduce Apex’s products and services
  • Develop a strong network and referral network database
  • Identify new clients and build a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Deliver sales activities independently which include initiating sales meeting, delivering sales proposal/quotation, and closing deals with clients
  • Able to sell complex solutions to clients, and handle clients’ requests/objections in an appropriate manner
  • Coach, develop and motivate of sales and support professionals to drive for sales performance and achieve sales goals
  • Follow internal sales and non-sales process and compliance requirements while delivering of sales activities
  • Follow up post-sales with other internal departments to ensure client satisfaction during the client on-boarding process, and ensure the agreed project/new fund launch schedule is met
  • Provide regular sales reporting, market update and provide feedback from partners or clients
  • Work closely with and build strong collaborative relationship with sales, marketing, client on-boarding, operations and other functions 

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a strong work ethic, as well as uncompromising integrity
  • High influencing skills and strong self-confidence and strategic mind to lead and/or contribute to discussion with all type of stakeholders at various seniority levels
  • Demonstrate eloquence and ability to be charismatic in front of clients and strategic partners
  • Possess relevant experience from a fund administrator or an asset management company or investment consulting company
  • More than 8 years direct sales experience
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • Strong verbal and written English & Mandarin skills are a must
  • Knowledge of fund documentation and corporate matters
  • Knowledge of fund structures, regulatory matters, standard accounting principles and fund operating practices and procedures
  • Candidate with lesser experience will be considered for a more junior position
