The highest authority in Philippines for the Electrical Sector and functions as senior executive in administering, directing and coordinating all commercial activities to assure the efficient achievement of the organization’s objectives in Philippines. This role is responsible for the start-up and operation of a profitable business for Eaton’s Power Distribution (CPC & PDA) and Power Quality electrical product, systems and solutions in Philippines through the use of effective sales processes, marketing strategy, and development of assigned countries. This position is responsible for leading the segment, channel sales and marketing strategy to meet the business objectives This role's primary function is to provide senior leadership and oversight to country team to implement the go to market strategy for the business, drive key customer relationships, key project negotiations, delivery and channel engagement activities to support country efforts to achieve sales, profit and market share goals. In addition to these responsibilities, the person provides support into all key marketing tasks surrounding the marketing and business planning functions including strategic planning, profit planning and business development strategies aligned with East Asia’s overall vision. This role is also responsible for recruiting the right team, regional partners, and to work with the Philippines team and regional teams to maximize coverage for growth. This role will also be providing guidance and coaching to the Philippines team to improve their overall competencies and continuously enhance sales efficiency; develop resources, tools and activities to support “sales & marketing” efforts; understand and identify customer needs and market requirement in the country, to influence offer innovation and competitiveness; and create measurement platform to outline progress related to the deployment of the various capture strategies as well as their degree of success. The goal of this position is to increase market coverage, grow market share and continuously enhance the efficiency of the company go-to-market. The position will also work with the Philippines team to accelerate growth plans in the country. Your essential responsibilities: Develop, own and execute a sub zone sales strategy for power distribution assemblies and components targeting (4) key customer categories including MOEM, Domestic Industrial Users, Utilities and EPCs; Backup Power CPS and DPQ product lines to achieve growth objectives. Hire, review, on-board, train and motivate direct reports to accomplish specific sales objectives. Act appropriately to ensure that employees are treated fairly; guide discipline/performance management process as necessary. Own the strategic planning and profit plan process for Eaton’s power distribution assemblies and components business ; power quality products and be responsible for developing the Strategic Plan on an annual basis. Responsible for key customer relationships, key job negotiations, and commercial issues to maximize customer affinity and effectiveness of the business. Responsible for promotions, channel programs, association networking and lead process to maximize the pipeline for growth and return on sales. Coordinate Eaton’s response to commercial issues and lead activities to ensure prompt response. Support the development of a locally relevant pricing/positioning strategy to maximize price realization and provide input to centralized price team to improve opportunity hit rate. Drive local coordination of the tendering process, leveraging the centralized bidding team to meet local customer expectations. Support/Assist in the development of localized sales tools and marketing material for the local market. Support the goals/objectives of the global EPC team, by maximizing coverage and relationships with local based EPCs. Master Eaton’s power distribution and quality product offering and build expertise in the power distribution assemblies and components business unit to support local customer requirements, leveraging the regional support structure. Responsible for planning, organizing, addressing and leading all the activities of the organization, including strategic planning, profit planning, organizational capability assessment, building a culture of engagement, etc. Identifies and recommends the short, medium and long-term business strategies. Directs and organizes the organization’s material, human and economic resources. Identifies and develops business opportunities. Manages the profitability and growth of the organization's operations within a country and is not limited to a specific product line. Represents the organization in relations with customers and the business and non-business communities. Qualifications If you are: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business MBA preferred 7-10 years related experience in sales and/or business development Requires product application knowledge for UPS, switchgear, switchboards, circuit breaker components, and/or motor control centers as well as working knowledge of the electrical industry. Experience in the electrical infrastructure of the Data Center industry, preferably with industrial power protection solutions. Experience with UPS, power distribution systems and/or power electronics highly desirable." Key account selling in the IT, Banking, Telco, Semi-con industry in East Asia Requires solid negotiation skills and market knowledge including competitor products. Sales and marketing experience in product offering is highly recommended. Previous major account selling experience required Experienced in solution selling with customer centric team Strong communication skills in both written and verbal Strategic thinking and planning with strong commercial and financial acumen. Strong organizational, communication and project management skills Strong interpersonal skills used for review, motivation, and development of direct reports are strongly recommended. Ability to multitask, complete projects with tight deadlines and proven product management experience. Good balance of technical and commercial acumen Must be experienced in competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, forecasting Must also be experienced with customer meetings and presentations. Ability to work in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments Ability to learn, articulate, and support complex products and technologies Ability to think and act strategically Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills Strong data mining and analysis skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint" Yes!
