Sales Engineer- Emergency Lighting and CBU Secure specifications and sales for Eaton emergency lighting and central battery products and services. Long term strategy requires working with consultants and end user clients and installers or other select partners to drive more immediate shorter gestation sales in your defined territory. This role is part of the national specialist sales team which are delivering the exciting, new, dedicated emergency lighting range within the UK market. Essential Functions: Network within your target market to develop & maintain trusted, professional relationships to enable you to secure Emergency Lighting & CPS/CBU specifications and sales Long term - Build pipeline and sales resilience, securing specification opportunities across complex projects & buildings within target market sectors Short term - Identify and secure shorter gestation sales opportunities through installers, turn key solution partners and other potentially suitable routes Drive and ensure engagement across multiple stakeholders, decision makers and influencers to secure sales & ensure successful solution delivery Engage with internal design and technical support teams to deliver accurate solutions effectively and efficiently, continually building personal understanding and capabilities Meet the annual profit plan targets, accelerating the sales pipeline and providing accurate forecasting for demand management and production scheduling through delivery of the Emergency Lighting strategy Use and embrace the digital sales enablement tools to maximise your chances of success Position Eaton as the authoritative, trusted and leading Emergency Lighting manufacturer in the industry Be the recognised voice of Emergency Lighting within your territory Be active on social media and within the wider Eaton team, encouraging and developing cross selling opportunities by engaging with piers in your local area Own, manage and maintain pipeline of business on CRM Qualifications Experience Required Proven sales performer in lighting or the electrical sector. An existing, transferable consultant customer base would be advantageous High level electrical principles would be of benefit A team player, consultative, solution & detail orientated, confident presenter, driven, result orientated, IT literate across Microsoft and Eaton specific platforms with a digital mindset What Eaton offers?
