Job Description
Support individuals or teams in all functions selling Axcelis products (tools, services, upgrades, parts, used tools, etc.) in their execution of their sales strategies and tactics to achieve long-term customer and company objectives.
Responsible for maintaining any CRM or other databases or applications used to support the sales process.
Compile periodic reports, maintain necessary documentation and ensure formal record keeping.
Act as liaison to the respective sales incumbent or team to other departments and/or functions within the company.
Head Quarters-based responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide factory based sales support to maximize Axcelis’ market share and profitability. Support the Sales Excellence Team and Field Sales organization in the execution of their sales strategies and tactics to achieve the long term objectives of the customer and Axcelis.
Support the Sales Excellence Community with the administration of the new Sales SharePoint Site, the administration of eQuote, maintenance of eConfigure, and upkeep of the Product Analysis Management (PAM) Access Database used by various functions within the business who require a forecast view of tool sales. Includes data entry in eQuote and eCongfig Quoting systems. Includes updating of the GLOVIA Business Control System.
Assist Finance and/or Auditors with questions regarding tool sales.
Maintain eConfig and eQuote with valid Non-Material Costs (Integration, Install, Warranty, Training, and Packaging). Ensure continual enhancement of the system to enable increased usefulness, utility, and functionality within the Axcelis business.
Input and maintain material items within the quoting systems, insuring descriptions and pricing aligns to Product Marketing objective, is consistent to GSS, and has commonality across the Product platforms.
Compile Sales forecasts and forecast potentials from databases.

Compile ISO specified documentation folders for the fulfillment of the Sarbanes Oxley

requirement for all tool sales.
Insure all documents are contained in the Shared Quote File for each customer deal. Enter System orders (pre-shipments, shipments, backorders) into the Axcelis Glovia System to generate inventory requirements and create paperwork to ship and invoice material, including all system shipments.
Make sure Customer P.O. is distributed to impact groups for review.
Assist Sales and Customer Support to obtain retention payments.
Coordination of the In House Wafer Processing business. Coordinate with customer quoting, purchasing, and forecasting. Work with the other in-house departments to insure timely processing for the customer’s requirements.
Provide monthly reports to different functions in the HQ such as the Sales Excellence Team, Product Marketing, Finance, Product Line Managers and others on progress against the tactical sales plan and all strategically important issues for all Axcelis systems.
Coordinates this with the Product Marketing Team to insure product offering is in line with the Axcelis Objectives. Visio Application utilized to Diagram, Develop, and Maintain the logical product offerings jointly agreed to between Sales, Marketing, and other affected parties.
Provide input to prioritize and forecast production shipments.
Test updates/ECO revisions to any application, database or system used to make sure processes are working, and all reports (Customer Quote, Budgetary Quote, Machine Configuration Report, Specials Report, and Margin Report) are accurate.
Identify any problems or errors in logic, function, or calculations within any of the system or reports to initiate immediate corrective action. Propose system, database or application improvements. Work with various teams to roll successful tests into Production.
Assist in the development/improvement projects which produce the tools and procedures required to carry out the functions of the Sales Excellence Team.
Provide quality interface and expertise between Field Sales and Sales Excellence and its internal and external customers.
Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures for all the tools of the Sales and Sales Excellence Team. Including the hardware and software enabling new and future business tools. Recommend and support alternative solutions.Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored and reported.

Required Skills
Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English sufficiently well to perform job functions.
For field positions: Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak language used in assigned territory. Excellent communication skills.
Strong personal interaction skills and ability to build strong relationships across hierarchy levels within the company and with customers.
Basic negotiation skills.
Coaching/Trainer/Influencing skills.
High level of versitility to liaise with all levels up to EVP.
Power user MS Office applications: Excel, Visio and Access.
