Bentley Systems invites you to join our high-performance team of Sales Engineers in ANZ for the Structural and Pipe Engineering product sector. As a Sales Engineer you will be:

 

  • Generating sales revenue for your product suite and territory.
  • Developing business opportunities by prospecting for new business and accounts.
  • Working with our Managed and Commercial account managers to generate revenue in their existing accounts.

 

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are self-motivated, and preferably experienced at inside and/or business-to-business sales and most importantly you speak the language of our users and prospects because of your experience in the infrastructure Planning, Design, construction and/or operations sector.

 

 Your Day-to-Day:

 

  • Take ownership of technical sales opportunities.
  • Investigate, uncover and understand a customer’s business needs.
  • Propose options for improvement or resolution of customer business issues and relates those solutions directly to the customer’ business goals/issues.
  • Promoting the Bentley Perpetual license, Term License and Practitioner annual subscription offerings as a comprehensive package of options.
  • Qualify and quantify each lead and sales opportunity and develop and manage a sales pipeline, forecast and territory sales plan by utilising Bentley’s CRM as a daily sales tool and reporting system.
  • Perform analysis and lead discovery of adjacent opportunities within an account.
  • Maintain and grow respected, trusted advisor relationships with customers.
  • Engage in strategic account planning with the Bentley Account Management team.
  • Communicate product features and benefits in pre-sales situations.
  • Present Synchro solutions to prospective users in the form of remote presentations.
  • Deliver assets such as PowerPoints, Videos, Datasets that can be used for marketing campaigns and sales opportunities.
  • Deliver webinars to support marketing campaigns for a wide audience.
  • Provide online reactive support to pre-sales questions from inside sales representatives.
  • Provide feedback and communicate market requirements to the Bentley product development team for assigned solutions.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

  • Having technical knowledge in any of the following applications is desired: RAM, STAAD, Autopipe, Space Gass or Strand7.
  • Further Education Qualification or Degree related to Civil Engineering (structural) or Industry Experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of Structural Infrastructure Planning and Design workflows, processes and terminology.
  • Good understanding of Plant infrastructure Planning and Design workflows, processes and terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team of technical, marketing and sales people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent group facilitation skills.
